Appreciating Ash Wednesday


This is from the point of view of someone that doesn't follow the practice of having ashes on his forehead, but he now appreciates it when he sees Catholics or other Christians wearing them.

Before receiving my ashes, the friar told us that whenever you go out today and people look at you because you have the ashes, try to remember why they are there and remember the movie, "Angels With Dirty Faces."
