Talks like June

Please pray for all those whose lives will be flipped upside down because of any natural disasters.

Well, it's Monday. Blah. Still haven’t gotten back into school mode yet, hopefully that'll happen soon. Everyone says that this year is going to fly. I'm not sure how I'll feel when it's over. Still deciding what to do with my life................happy trails to you.

1 2 live 4

I think one of the reasons I hate going back to school is just trying to get back into the swing of it. Once I get back into that school mode Ill be fine. Hmm, I dont have much to type here. Im also gonna miss everyone thats leaving....sigh. I'll leave you with Relient K.

"Sometimes it's embarrassing to talk to You
To hold a conversation with the only One who sees right through
This version of myself I try to hide behind
I'll bury my face because my disgrace will leave me terrified

And sometimes I'm so thankful for Your loyalty
Your love regardless of the mistakes I make will spoil me
My confidence is, in a sense, a gift You've given me
And I'm satisfied to realize You're all I'll ever need

CHORUS:
You looked into my life and never stopped
And You're thinking all my thoughts
Are so simple but so beautiful
And You recite my words right back to me
Before I even speak You let me know
I am understood

And sometimes I spend my time just trying to escape
I work so hard, so desperately,
In an attempt to create space
'Cause I want distance from me and the utmost important thing I know
I see Your love, then turn my back, and beg for You to go

CHORUS

You're the only one who understands, completely
You're the only one who knows me yet still loves (me), completely

And sometimes the place I'm at is at a loss for words
If I think of something worthy, I know that it's already Yours
And through the times I've faded and you've outlined me again
You've just patiently waited, to bring me back and then

CHORUS

The noise has broken my defense
Let me embrace salvation
Your voice has broken my defense
Let me embrace salvation"

That was the moment

Have you ever found yourself watching a show on tv and you keep thinking, " this is so stupid! this person really makes me mad!" but you continue to watch? Well that happened today. I was flipping through and I stopped on MTVs show called Super Sweet 16. Oh my gosh! The girl on there was one of the worst representatives of teens in America! No wonder everyone hates us! She was soooooo bratty! I kept yelling at the tv about how she needed to be slapped! Her Mom acted like this was how she should behave even thoughthey would fight about everything and the little brat would always win but yelling at the mother. The Mom spent soo much money on this girls party and she also bought her a brand new car! As I was watching, I kept thinking, "I should change the channel! They put these people on here so you can't help but watch!" And I couldnt help it! I had to see how expensive this party looked and how she kept throwing little fits because everything wasnt the way she wanted it! Ahhhhh! What is wrong with the world today!? I need a song!

"Welcome to a new kind of tension.
All across the alien nation.
Everything isn't meant to be okay.
Television dreams of tomorrow.
We're not the ones who're meant to follow.
Convincing them to walk you."

Tears from the forehead

The Renaissance Festival was soooooo fun! I think just the fact that the rides were run by pirates made it great. I think the fairies loved us cuz we stayed and talked to them 4 almost an hour! I don't really feel like typing out everything that happened so I'll just type a bunch of things that I remember from the whole experience...

Chocolate chip pancakes, bucket, blue, trumpet guy in the woods, "no haste whatsoever", Jess elected leader, freaky people with masks, mustard seed, sir show and tell, crow’s nest, pirate guys ;), roses, sir tom, sir mo, and sir ash, staggered over here and died...over there, box of mystery, more of the 3 knights, mud show, "oh! Your parents are fancy!” die!, final episode of the knights, big smiley! big winkay! kissy face!

Say something! Don't say that!

Well, work was very...worky today! Only 2 more days of it and Im done! Two more days of creepy physical plant guys, two more days of dorm rooms, and two more days of hiking up that mountain!

In 1814 we took a little trip
Along with Colonel Jackson down the mighty Mississip.
We took a little bacon an' we took a little beans
And we caught the bloody British at the town of New Orleans.

Refrain:
We fired our guns an' the British kept a'comin'.
There wasn't nigh as many as there was awhile ago.
We fired once more an' they begin to runnin'
Down the Mississippi to the Gulf of Mexico.

We looked down the river an' we seed the British comin',
There must a'been a hundred of 'em beatin' on the drum.
They stepped so high an' they made their bugles ring,
We stood beside our cotton bales an'didn't say a thing.

Refrain

Ole Hickory said we could take 'em by surprise,
If we didn't fire our muskets 'til we looked 'em in the eyes.
We held our fire 'til we seed their faces well,
Then we opened up our squirrel guns an' really gave 'em ...well!

Refrain

Yeah, they ran through the briars an' they ran through the brambles
An' they ran through the bushes where the rabbits couldn't go.
They ran so fast that the hounds couldn't catch 'em
Down the Mississippi to the Gulf of Mexico.

We fired our cannon 'til the barrel melted down,
So we grabbed an alligator an' we fought another round.
We filled his head with cannon balls an' powdered his behind,
An' when they touched the powder off, the 'gator lost his mind.

Refrain

(Song's in my head)

Hot as chicken muffins!

Well, my bro and I just went for a bike ride. I love riding bikes, but it is sooo hot today!

I love this song!

"Vindicated"

Hope dangles on a string
Like slow spinning redemption
Winding in and winding out
The shine of it has caught my eye

And roped me in
So mesmerizing, so hypnotizing
I am captivated

[Chorus]
I am Vindicated
I am selfish
I am wrong
I am right
I swear I'm right
I swear I knew it all along

And I am flawed
But I am cleaning up so well
I am seeing in me now the things you swore you saw yourself

Ok! Love you! Bye Bye! Later days!

Lucky Captain Rabbit King!

Well, it was a good band camp! Most of the bad stuff was from one source but I wont get into that. A few highlights were the circle with the potters, band chick, and all of the guys. No, I’m not talking about random hot guys walking around campus, I’m talking about the awesome band guys that made the bad times alot more tolerable. Of course my roommates added to the fun. How could you go wrong with the room of Mo,Bo, Mitch, and Hitch? Ok, later days! Till then, till then, I am, as I ever was and ever shall be, yours, yours, yours, yours yours!
